Project Details

Full Service Provider

Through the performance of delivery orders under our contract, we provided brokerage, transportation, treatability studies, treatment, and disposal services. These services were performed at three of our fixed base treatment facilities. Waste streams consisted of LLW and mixed waste solids, sludges, lab packs, waste waters, oils, debris, and dry active waste (DAW). Treatment services consisted of combustion, liquefaction, macroencapsulation, vacuum assisted thermal desorption, amalgamation, stabilization/solidification, and neutralization.

Waste streams had transuranic isotopes with concentration levels of up to 99 nanocuries per gram (nCi/g). Additionally, we had disposed of the materials at both EnergySolutions and the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS).
