The Perma-Fix Instrumentation (Safety and Ecology) Lab's Quality Management System is ISO 9001:2015 certified. This means they have implemented quality management systems that meet the requirements set by the International Organization for Standardization. Being ISO 9001 certified indicates that the company consistently strives to deliver quality services and to improve upon those services. The lab also has ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation for the Calibration of Radiological and Industrial Hygiene Instrumentation (as detailed in the certificate supplement).
The Perma-Fix Instrumentation Lab is compliant with the standards set by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers(ASME) in their Nuclear Quality Assurance program. NQA-1 emphasizes the importance of each individual's role in our operations, and by applying these standards, we can efficiently manage the processing and disposition of any radioactive materials.
