Perma-Fix's wastewater treatment
facility is the only such facility in South Florida permitted by
the EPA and State to treat hazardous wastewater. For example,
Perma-Fix's process safely removes toxic substances such as benzene
from contaminated water.
After verification that all water
quality standards have been fully satisfied, treated water is
discharged under permit.
Waste Oil Management
Perma-Fix is South Florida's leader
in recycling used oil. Our route trucks will pick up your waste oil
in bulk or drums on a regular schedule or an a call-in
basis.
All oil collected by Perma-Fix is
converted into high-quality fuel for use in permitted industrial
furnaces such as asphalt kilns.
Recycling in this manner exempts
used oil from management as a hazardous waste, protects the
environment and conserves valuable natural resources.
Oil Filter Recycling
Florida has restricted the disposal
of used oil filters in landfills. Perma-Fix provides you with a
safe, legal alternative by collecting oil filters for recycling.
Recovered metal is recycled into various steel products. Recovered
oil is converted into high-quality fuel.
Coolants & Antifreeze
Perma-Fix will safely dispose of
used automotive and industrial antifreeze or coolants. Our fleet of
route trucks will pick up your material in either bulk or drums for
processing through Perma-Fix's wastewater treatment
system.
Hazardous Waste
Perma-Fix provides a cost-effective
alternative to incineration by blending liquid and solid organic
wastes into usable, high-BTU produces for energy
recovery.
Typical hazardous wastes include paints, solvents, thinners, degreasers, and other flammable
materials in the form of liquids, sludges or solids.
To minimize your costs and liability
concerns, Perma-Fix utilizes industrial furnaces that are fully
permitted to burn hazardous waste for energy recovery.
All waste is screened to ensure
compliance with RCRA guidelines and to verify the generator's
profile.
Our rapid profiling capability
allows us to approve your wastes in less than one
week.

On-Site Treatment
Perma-Fix offers a unique on-site
treatment process using a proprietary stabilization technology that
renders certain wastes non-hazardous. By eliminating the need to
send materials to a hazardous waste landfill, the Perma-Fix process
can minimize your waste, your disposal costs and your liability
concerns.
Oily Waste Management
Perma-Fix is South Florida's leader
in recycling bunker sludge and used oil. Our tank trucks will
receive all types of oily wastes alongside your ship at any of
Florida's major sea ports. We provide seamless ship-to-plant
service at the Port of Miami, Port Everglades, Port of Tampa and
Port Canaveral in full compliance with MARPOL 73/78 and U.S. Coast

industrial furnaces such as asphalt kilns. Recycling in this manner
exempts this waste from being handled as hazardous and limits your
company's overall cost and long term liability.
Hazardous Waste
