Description:
The IT Specialist's primary role is

Perma-Fix Environmental Services is looking for a motivated individual to support users and IT operations with hardware, software, network, and a variety of IT issues. The IT Specialist will be responsible for managing, developing, and supporting the IT infrastructure for user and server systems throughout the organization. Daily activities include system administration, security management, system backups, application / PC support, PC setup / installation, procurement, issue tracking, license tracking, telecommunication, vendor liaison, and related tasks. The IT Specialist will work closely with the business to ensure mission critical systems are available, secure, and perform acceptably.

The position requires 4+ experience installing and supporting Microsoft technologies on server and user systems including Active Directory, MS Office, Outlook, Exchange, Win2k, XP, IIS, SQL Server, DNS, DCHP, ghost, PC Anywhere, and MS Terminal Server. In addition, experience with hardware systems including routers, TCP/IP, WiFi devices, scanners, and printers are required. This position will manage relationships with 3rd party vendors and provide direct support to the users at all locations. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Travel may be required. A min. 3 years IT support experience and a college degree or 6+ years IT experience are required. Position is located in Richland, WA.
