Perma-Fix of Dayton offers a wide range of services, focusing on Total Waste Management for our clients via our capabilities as well as through our network of other Perma-Fix facilities. Services include but aren't limited to those listed below.

We also provide design, construction and on-site operation of complete wastewater treatment systems, which can range in complexity from a single component to a complete turnkey installation.

• Biological Treatment of Organic Wastewaters - Our biological treatment plant uses natural microorganisms to reduce a wide range of high-strength organic wastewaters to simple, environmentally safe compounds. For details on the process and suitable wastes for treatment, see Biological Treatment.

• Non-hazardous Oily Wastewater and Coolants - Our treatment regime includes thermal conditioning, liquid/liquid separation via coalescing and liquid/liquid/solid separation through ultra-filtration. Wastewater exiting this system undergoes further treatment for the removal of other contaminants prior to being discharged to the POTW. The design capacity of this system is in excess of 5,000,000 gallons per month.

• Use Oil Recycling - Used crankcase, hydraulic, cutting, lubricating and stamping oils, along with commercial fuels are processed to produce both specification and off-specification used oil fuel for energy recovery. These products are used to fuel asphalt plants and permitted industrial boilers.

• Heavy Metal Laden Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Wastewater - Our system is designed and permitted to remove both RCRA regulated and RCRA non-regulated metals, either through the main wastewater treatment plant on a continuous basis or on a batch basis in separate treatment area designed especially for that purpose.

• Corrosives - Our system is designed and permitted to neutralize corrosive wastes either on a batch or continuous basis, with the neutralized product being treated by the main wastewater treatment plant prior to being discharged to the POTW.

• Hazardous Waste Management - Perma-Fix of Dayton is a fully permitted Part B TSDF, with services that include fuel blending, incineration and heavy metal removal, along with the bulking and brokering of wastes to our network of other Perma-Fix facilities.

• Solidification - Our facilities include a 20,000 square foot area for the handling of sludge and specialty wastes. We accept both bulk and drummed material for solidification and disposal.

• Non-Hazardous Drum Management - Our facility can manage thousands of non-hazardous drums per month, whether they contain liquids, slurries or solids.

• Transportation - Perma-Fix of Dayton maintains a fleet of vehicles designed to accommodate the transportation needs of our clients. Whether it is a 7000 gallon tanker for bulk loads, 3500 gallon route truck for smaller loads, 3500 gallon vacuum truck for clean ups and small projects, or a box van for drum and tote pick up, we have the equipment and trained personnel for the job.
